How much is conference registration?

Registration for all accepted presenters is FREE, so be sure to submit an abstract here. Not all submissions will be chosen.

Early-bird registration is $75. (Coming soon.) Regular and on-site registration is $85.

Registration fees admit conference attendees to all workshops, presentations, roundtable discussions, and readings.

Where will the conference be held?

The 2019 Writers Conference of Northern Appalachia (WCoNA) will be held in historic downtown Wheeling, West Virginia. Conference sessions and workshops will convene at the Ohio County Public Library at 16th Street and the First State Capital Building on Eoff Street.

The open mic event will be held at Vagabond Kitchen at 1201 Market Street.

The Literary Awards Banquet featuring West Virginia Poet Laureate Marc Harshman will be held at West Virginia Northern Community College at 1704 Market Street.

In addition, an artisan market will be held on Eoff Street on Friday evening, all day Saturday, and all day Sunday.

These venues are short distances from each other. Parking is available at meters (no charge after 5 pm on Friday or all day on Saturdays and Sundays) and in marked lots (see the conference map).
